Sharkstooth: This sharp pinnacle (12,630'), sticking straight up from a set of similar spires at the west end of The Loch, makes it easy to understand why it was named Sharkstooth. It is not so visible from below at The Loch, but the surrounding spires give you the idea.
This spire sits on top of a mass of such spires popularly called either the Cathedral Wall, or Cathedral Spires. Cathedral Spires is a popular technical rock climbing area. This structure is visible from the Loch Vale trail.#
